Prabumulih is a city in South Sumatra, Indonesia. It has an area of 435.10 km² and a population of 132,065 (May 2005).

Prabumulih produces thousands of barrels of crude oil and millions of cubic meters of natural gas each year. Therefore it is called The Oil Town. Another nickname is The Pineapple, because one of the famous agricultural products is pineapples. Prabumulih’s pineapples are famous for their sweetness and are marketed to the island of Java.
